Product details

Dypsis lutescens. The standard indoor palm for Dhaka flats — it takes the humidity and forgives a missed watering.

Care

  • Light — bright, indirect. Direct afternoon sun scorches the fronds
  • Water — when the top inch is dry, roughly twice a week indoors
  • Feed — a balanced liquid feed monthly through the growing season
  • Watch for — brown tips, which mean dry air rather than dry soil

Supplied at 3–4 ft in a 10 inch pot. Repot into 12 inch after the first year.
